John Christopher is a the pen name of an ex-Catholic high school teacher. The story is real inasmuch as the events described happen to real people in real schools, public or private, in real cities every day in urban America. The story is fiction inasmuch as no characters in the story, including John, are or resemble actual persons, living or dead, and none of the events described actually happened.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading part of your story, the introductions of the class and you revealing more than they needed to know but less than they wanted, if I may paraphrase.
I like your writing style. This should be a book, if it is not already.
The only thing (for me) is that the posts are long. Informative, entertaining, engaging, but long for this online reader.
Just a suggestion…consider breaking up the stories into more online friendly readable posts, meaning shorter posts.
With a cliff-hanger type detail your readers will want to find out ‘what happens next’ …the continuing part of your story.
At first, honestly, I did not think I would find your entry interesting. I was soooo wrong!
Great work!
